NMLS is the US system that records mortgage lenders and gives each one an identifier you can look up.
NMLS, the National Mortgage Licensing System, is the US register for companies that make mortgage or home loans. Each company on it has an identifier that lenders and borrowers can look up, and the record shows its licensing status. Abe Student Loans holds 2542102 and LendKey holds 1266627. First National Bank of Omaha, Republic Bank and Splash Financial also appear in the system.
