What is Eligibility?
In short
The age, residency and work or credit conditions you must meet before a lender looks at your application.
Eligibility is the set of conditions a lender checks before it agrees to lend: how old you are, where you live, how you earn and what your credit record shows. Failing one of them usually stops the application early rather than pushing the price up.
The rules differ sharply between lenders. 1822direkt asks for a minimum age of adulthood, main residence in Germany, a period of employment, a permanent contract and no negative SCHUFA or CRIF Buergel entry. 5in5 lends only to businesses registered in the Netherlands: sole proprietorships and BVs under one owner-director, listed in the KvK, with a business bank account and money spent for business reasons only, and it asks for no minimum turnover or trading history. Aave asks for adulthood or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and no location in a restricted or sanctioned jurisdiction. ABA Bank requires a salary paid through the bank over a period, active use of ABA Mobile and a clean CBC record. ABB Bank accepts official income or an active ABB debit card and weighs your age and credit history.
